First Position: Humanitarian Assistance Project Management Assistant

Work Summary

Basic Duties: A vital component of OHA is the USAID Project Management Assistant (Humanitarian Assistant). For OHA, the Programme Management Assistant manages OHA’s knowledge management systems and offers administrative support. Essential office support services such as official correspondence preparation, records management, event planning, travel, transportation, and logistics support are covered by administrative functions. As an Activity Manager, the Assistant offers program management, program monitoring, and related support. The job holder contributes to the creation of the budget, pipeline oversight, and administration and oversight (A&O) of program funds.

Workplace Need

Required qualifications: A minimum of two or more years of post-secondary education, the equivalent of a junior college or community college diploma in the United States, must be completed in secretarial science, business administration, management, social science, or general studies. Having at least three years of increasingly responsible experience in program management, administrative duties, and systems management is necessary.

Salary Range: FSN – 8 pays between $12,764 and $22,964 annually, expressed in US dollars but paid in Birr.
