Up until August 2012, Ethio-Life was the only company in Ethiopia’s insurance industry focused solely on life insurance. The shareholders of Ethio-Life were resolved to increase the company’s service by adding non-life (general) insurance products to its business portfolio, given the enormous potential and viability of the general insurance business resulting from the nation’s rapid economic growth.

First Position: Driver of the CEO Car

Qualifications: Completion of Grade 10 plus a third-grade driver’s license and an auto mechanics certificate are advantages.
Work Experience: Two years of driving experience is necessary. The following extra skills and abilities are also needed A fundamental understanding of driving techniques and traffic management laws and regulations

Second position: Supervisor of Warehouses

Requirements: Bachelor of Arts in Management or Human Resource Management, or a closely related degree from an accredited university
Work Experience: Two (two) years of minimum relevant experience in the insurance industry; preferably, prior insurance experience
Workplace: Addis Ababa

Senior Human Resource Development Officer is the third position.

Qualification: Bachelor of Arts in Management or Human Resource Management, or a closely related degree from an accredited university

Experience: Five years or more of experience in a business organization that is relevant

Extra attributes and skills Essential:
Good understanding of HRM practices and principles; good comprehension of Labour Law and Company HRM policies and procedures; good comprehension of induction and training coordination; good oral and written communication skills; ability to conduct training impact assessment; ability to direct and coordinate various tasks; thorough understanding of the principles of purchasing and supplies management; good comprehension of transport and warehouse management; ability to gather and analyze pertinent data; basic understanding of driving skills and traffic management rules and regulations

Workplace: Addis Ababa

Fourth Position: Store Keeper

Qualification: A BA or diploma in accounting and finance, purchasing and supplies management, or a related field of study from an accredited university or college
Experience: A minimum of one year for a BA degree, or two years for a diploma in business organisation, depending on the type of experience.
